Acting

I recently began acting. In the upcoming movie Harrison Bergeron based on a Kurt Vonnegut story, I played point man in the Handicapper General enforcement strike team. I directed my team in weapon handling and tactical maneuvers and helped choreograph the home invasion fight scene in which six of us struggle to arrest the titular character.

I'm going to be in a theater piece called Snow White and the Seven Sirens on New Years' Eve.

I can see myself doing more acting in the future as I quite enjoy working with my friends in the industry. 

Beginning acting and improv. classes, as well as the experience of performing for a large audience, are skills that I would describe as near essential for those who are interested in organizing and creating radical situations.  The experience of speaking to a large group, and playing a character for a particular situation, is the same experience you get in demonstrations and direct actions involving larger groups.  You also gain such essential skills as charisma, confidence, the ability to lie convincingly (for instance, to law enforcement), the ability to persuade, and the ability to shape a given situation with the use of characters, for comedy or drama.
