I can think creatively and often come up with multiple solutions to problems that can be combined in order to acheive the best result.

An example of such is a method of recording electric guitars which myself and another band member came up with.

With sub professional level equipment, recording guitars from an amplifyer directly through a line can produce a very clear signal in the bass and trebble ranges, however the signal can sound sterile and miss some of the cruicial mids.

Recording using a microphone infront of an amplifier can produce a very warm analog sound, however, when outside of an accoustically treated room and when using sub professional equipment, this signal looses allot of clarity and can bleed too much reverb or ambiance onto the track.

Combining these two methods, by recording from both the amplifier line and the microphone in front of the amp simultaniously, provides the best solution to those without very expensive processing equipment or studio space. It also creates a new dynamic, in that, when mixing multiple guitar tracks, you can mix between each tracks two sub-tracks to allow one to cut through the mix and the other to take up the background space of the mix.

Combining multiple flawed ideas can not only create a better solution, but provide you with new approaches and dynamics that could not be found by simply taking what you consider to be the best of those original ideas.
