I got a Manual 4 Speed Ford Escord shortly after Hight School and had a 1979 VW Bus  that I drove from Seattle to Santa Barbara in the summer of 2006, also a 4 Speed.

I need to learn how to drive my new Toyota Corolla's manual transmission urgently and Dave is going to teach RiZen and myself how tonight as we embark on our Barcamp LA 5 road trip.

UPDATE: Dave took me out to a parking lot near city college and I got the hang of it in about an hour. Then it was onto the freeway and zoom I learned the ins and outs of driving stick. I'm still bewildered by the experience but I've basically got the hang of it.

I have wanted to drive manual transmission vehicles from the time that I got behind the wheel at 5 years old (I have the picture to prove it). I learned how to do it a year ago, and I now wish to spread my joy by teaching others how to drive manual transmission vehicles. So bug me about it!		0
