Intimidation
Intimidation uses threatening words and body language to put enough fear into someone to make them do what you want.
Intimidation can call a bully on his bluff to make him back down or force a prisoner to give you the information you want (maybe lying to tell you what you want to hear). You can change the target’s behavior with a successful Intimidation chance opposed by the target’s own Intimidation chance. Any ideas that a target may have such as Courage against fear increase their %.
Power Factor
Intimidation has a power factor ranging from –50% for a superior opponent to +50% for an outnumbered and frightened opponent. Reputation Factor If you are particularly infamous or powerful, you can attempt to take advantage of your Reputation factor to increase your Intimidation chances.
Panicking Opponents
In a fight, you can attempt to Intimidate an opponent into being panicked in combat as a 1-second movement. If you succeed, the target is panicked. Panicked people will flee at top speed while dodging or cower if unable to move away.
Consequences
Even if the initial intimidation succeeds, the target can only be intimidated so far, and repetition won’t help. If the initial attempt fails, the target is resolved to resist the intimidator. Special If you have 25% or more deception skill, you get a +10% synergy bonus on Intimidation chances.
