Corporate Anatomy
All corporations have a basic anatomy. Understanding the building blocks that makes a company work and function can help an agent understand many things. These things may include:
- Dissecting news stories
- Understanding intention behind a press release
- Predicting marketing trends
- Identifying possible dive targets
It is generally understood that some of the building blocks (such as Mission Statements) are largely cosmetic in nature. In reality this is generally true. Nonetheless in smaller establishments and especially not for profits guiding principles and lain out goals can influence day to day operations.
Learning about the structure of these things can also help an agent who is assisting in the creation of a new corporate entity. Most new enterprises require some if not all of the following information before local Articles of Incorporation can be filed for.
