Radical holidays every day!
You know what's equally as awesome, but way more radical? The slingshot planner! It's made by a publishing company out of the Longhaul infoshop in Berkeley, CA and every day has a few items of this-day-in-history from radical happenings. It's a great way to remember all the national days of action and days of struggle. It also helps me remember big events, like famous bombings ( I don't do bombs) and actions.
For example, on today 2.17,
1975: Hundreds of residents od Whyl, GErmany occupy construction site of nuclear power plant
1984: Workers at a Coca Cola plant in Guatemala sieze it for collective operation.
I'm taking what you said about awareness days to a political level. Check this out. http://slingshot.tao.ca/organizer.php and it's only 6$ which makes it even more awesome.
well
what's wrong with doing both?
Also... the governing body standard thing is more important to me than the content really. Any excuse to throw on a suit and table in a federal buildng under the guise of "International Pop Tart Day" is good for me.
I would go so far as to say "Nu-UH My calander idea is way COOLER than YOUR calander idea. " hahahawtf
Maybe one day I'll learn how to be WAY MORE RADICAL myself. Some day.. some day..
You mocking me? No, don't
exactly
Are you mockng ME?
I'm working on a random icebreaker generator for people with mobile devices and i want this calander. I am NOT looking for a 'what is more radical' one up game. Or maybe I do......
I can out radical anything that you can post OR do in a 24 hour period. Hands down.
I declare a radicaloff. Do you accept my challenge Angie?
I do believe these are called anarchopoints.
No WAY
If such a thing ever raises it's head why not direct that activity to something productive. What you have described here sounds like a childish and nonproductive smarmy thing that would personally frustrate me if I saw it. Your also implying that this socially motivated meme is the sole solution to such disagreements. tsk tsk.
I'd way rather have a friendly competition to see who can mail more books to prisoners or something. Might as well actually do something and casual competition is as fine an excuse as any to Get Things Done.
Mah call out still stands. Only way to work out how to run a RadicalOff is to do a few and keep good notes. Guinnea Pig with me angiewoot.
