It is time to face facts, I am going to need a job quite soon. I have debts, and I would like to move in the near future. it would be nice if I got a job in an area that I enjoy and would be eager to perform well and learn more about.

I want to work in a book store. I don't have a better reason than I simply love books and would love to be able to help sell them to people. I don't know much about books other than the fact that they are awesome. I have experience in all kinds of genres, some limited customer service experience, and there are plenty of book stores of all kinds in this area.

I will need something that may start as PT but will become FT during the summer, and then possibly PT after that once I head back to university. It would be nice to work somewhere that wasn't Chapters or some other huge chain, as from what I've heard and seen it isn't quite the environment I'd be looking for. I'd much rather work at a second-hand book shop, but when it comes down to it I will take what I can get.

I will need to revamp my resume (read: padding) write some damn good cover letters and break out the suit.

I can do this.

UPDATE: Finishing off my last term paper took priority.  Now looking in ernest.  Have a large list of Secondhand and Antiquarian bookstores in Greater Vancouver.
