Skypecasting

I can, and love, doing this. I feel that voice communication is beautiful and should be used to it's utmost. I feel that the social tools included in the skype package, indeed most software packages, are woefully underused. I used to do this kind of thing during my old Yahoo Scrape days, popping in on people and talking to them. Skypecasting makes more of an event out of doing such a thing though, which carries a stigma that keeps people a bit more lively. Though there is no difference to traditional voice chat and a skype cas, technically, people take the terminology and process as a personal event and behave as if they had a part of the spotlight on them for a moment.

This is a good thing as it makes people interact more, and in some cases even take social risks.

Count me in, buddy. Anytime.
