Recommedia... on Toolpedia or as a content type?

We need to start posting Recommedia lists for people.

On the one hand, most Recommedia would make sense in the toolpedia store as kit (possibly 6th line kit : media library) because a lot of it is purchaseable.  A lot of media is non-purchasable as well though, such as creative commons media.  Posting as a material works I guess, but I kinda like the idea of leaving the materials for projects and things that are made by internal members for use in campaigns.

I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on it.

Media should probably be the focus of the toolpedia store

Methinks that if the toolpedia is going to work, and possably pay for a significant portion of the empowerment's expenses, then we should focus on media.  Amazon, for example, pays about double the  affiliate rate for downloadable media as for printed media. To avoid being profit-whores, we should index free media in pretty much the same way, with the biggest difference being a cc logo instead of an amazon logo.  Also, we should make it a project to locate all the recomedia elsewhere on the site and create a toolpedia page for it. Especially the media recommended within the skill tree.

Once you buy, sell or give a physical item it becomes inventory

Once you buy, sell or give a physical item it becomes inventory. So at the moment recommedia has to be a tool group. But it also connects with media materials. Eg. we create a shirt material and put them up for sale as a tool.
