Update 2: I resigned! I'm now full-time executive director of EmpowerThyself.

Update: I've given notice to my employer of my intention to pursue Empowerment and they are supportive. I am transitioning more workdays each week to Empowerment and I am in good shape.

My name is Alex Peake and The Empowerment is the result of my constant labor for more than 5 years.

For all this time I have been paying my way and even supporting family members financially whereas many of my friends have families who can help them out.

To take Empowerment all the way, I need a source of income that lets me focus on it exclusively.

I can live on $1000 per month so when I have that much monthly funding I can give notice at my day job and make Empowerment my full-time work for 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

I could do it with 100 people donating $10 too. Either way, at $1000 per month total donations the project will officially be in business.

I'll keep a log of my activities to demonstrate the revolutionary return on investment that my work is producing for my funders.

Your help is vital to get things started. I don't expect to need your donations forever.

The Fund Empowerment campaign seeks to obtain major NGO funding and once we produce the game all kinds of revenue streams become possible to sustain our work and make us independent from the whims and biases of funding sources.
