Whoever designed the menus is an idiot. Oh wait. Doh.

Forum: ... doesn't follow form. Perhaps "Browse Forums" would work better.
"create content" should be capitalized
There are too many content types to list without a little more nesting. Putting all of the poll/quiz items in a branch should make it more readable. i.e.
Create Content
2. The menu group labled with the user's name
Gold stars should go here rather than being their own group later on.
Do storylinks and pledgebank really belong here?
Capitalization is inconsistent. I would suggest capitalizing the first letter of every word, in the style of book titles, etc.
3. Absolute power
The name is uninformative. Something like "site statistics" would work better. If anyone can come up with something as catchy as "absolute power" but more informative, I am all ears.
4. Network.
Wow. This one deserves its own thread. I won't diminish the size of this task by addressing it in a section of a comment.
5. Who's online and Who's new
Fine other than the inconsistant capitalization
6. Recent blog posts.
Fine, but are blog posts that important within the scope of the empowerment? Why isn't there a "Recent Book Page" item? Also, capitalization
7. New forum topics
The forums aren't very active yet, but having both "New forum topics" and "Active forum topics" seems a bit much, especially since they are both near the bottom, but both fairly near eachother.

Should be toward the top of the menu. A nice calandar would be awesome, but since there are fairly few events atm, this is fine.

Hows about "groups" as a menu item, and an option to recieve an email when new groups are created?

This should be with "my account" and what not.

Thanks for reminding me of how little I contribute. :p
Also, when viewing a book page, the book hierarchy is listed above the normal menu. It should be there all the time because users generally get used to using tree views in the top left of the page, and get a bit lost when their preffered controls aren't there. It should be compacted to a single, expandable line by default(i.e. when not on a book page). The book hierarchy is also confusing and should be rearranged a bit, but that is a different topic.
