Site menu improvements
blog

I have improved the site's Top Nav and Actions menus.
-
Top Nav is now integrated with the Drupal menu system properly so that it displays the same pretty icons as the rest of the site.
- Guests see a "Create an account" link first in the menu until they login.
- Logged in users see a "My account" and "Logout" link on the right instead of hunting below on the sidebar.
- There's a newly prominent "What's New" link front and center with a cool green radar icon I designed. This makes it easy to see all the latest content on every part of the site in one list.
- The forum has a prominent link on the top to make it easy for people to go there and discuss.
- The Actions menu now includes clearly labeled links to create all our major content types with a shiny icon for each one.
- The action menu's nonmenclature distinguishes between "Document a medium/audience/idea/skill" for collaborative writing to reach objective explanations of shared subjects, "Post a topic/link/entry/event" for personal writing and "Start a campaign/group" for launching collaborative undertakings.

whoot!!!
Moving in the right direction
The empowerment site. Now 15% more user friendly.
Thanks for the implementations. It's still a mess, but that Whats New page is a freaking godsend. I assume that tracks ALL content types right?
Yes and there will be more where that came from
A great improvement!
