Plugs are favorable mentions of something made by someone through a medium like a TV show or a book.
Getting a plug is a good way to spread something to the show's audience. Doing an interview on a show is a good way to arrange plugging, and many shows tend only to invite guests with something to plug. Plugging is a quicker and dirtier form of reviewing because you usually don't have time during a pug to do a detailed review but you often have a larger audience that you are in some way entertaining in the process of plugging. |
