The Empowerment vision is that everyone can be empowered as doers to achieve meaningful changes in the world we live in. Naturally, this necessitates the wide spread of the Empowerment itself. Empowerment is a movement to advance the progress of other movements, but to do anybody any good if must get itself moving first. Inviting your friends and colleaguesThe easiest way to spread empowerment is by inviting your friends to join. Inviting your friends and colleagues is a crucial component of the Spread Empowerment campaign. You can track who joins up and earn 10 points each. Referral CodesAll other forms of media can be connected with the invitation system via coded URL referral codes. This way, you can put your code on all your materials from your T-shirts to your cards. Referral codes enable new users to get started right away subscribed to your groups and added to your friends list. View your referrals to check your referral code URL, which looks something like this: http://www.empowerthyself.com/referral/7777772f Anyone who clicks your referral code is sent to create a new account. For each user who signs up with your code, you earn points. Spread The Word, Learn The RopesThe activist skills explained in this book can be put to use in promoting participation to an expanding base of people. This is made easier by the free nature of Empowerment. Any part of it can be used to spread the ideas for just the energy it takes to distribute. Spreading Empowerment can teach you the skills to help achieve your own goals, and the more people who you empower, the more effective help you will get with your own projects. Second Life SpreadingYou can give people an Empowerment kit in Second Life. The Empowerment MovieThe Empowerment Movie is a hybrid documentary near-history storytelling narrative movie about everyone becoming activists and changing the world. The script and storyline of the movie is also a short story included at least partially in the book. The movie is available for digital download to play full-screen in streaming and CD quality versions. The movie is also available with the Distro. |  |
The BookIncluding Idea CardsThe idea cards that tear out in the back are great idea vectors too. A few sheets of blank perforated card paper is included to get you started with spreading idea cards of your own. The goal is to make a book that motivates people to read all the other necessary books, to explore all the other ideas, to spread the metaidea of idealism to spur people onto whatever thought and action is right for them. The Idealism manifesto comes first. Then the encyclopedia of ideas. Then the history and world stuff. The RPG rules are at the back or seperate. This is just integral to the mass audience. A simple word or two can say at the start, if you want to skip to the crunchy game stuff, go to page 212 or something like that. The Declaration of Human EmpowermentWe need to gather a large group of people as signatories on the book’s central Declaration of Empowerment.
