r4nger5

I'm feeling pretty together, today.

Over the last 2 days I have stripped down the studio, rewired it, tidied it, sorted out the equipment and repositioned everything.

On the digital side, our shows have been brought up to date, reorganised and generally sorted out. I produced a new 'tales from the afternow' type audio book episode, and wrote, played and recorded the music for it.

We now have Skype capability, meaning that anyone from anywhere in the world can call in and help present a show!

V.V.Cool Hopfully we'll get some interesting guest presenters as a result.

Basically, I get empowered, then I empower others. 

The only downer was that my server died on me, but the shows are still available from a number of sources. 

Getting more sorted out on the pod cast front.

The studio layout is getting more organised, and the server is starting to behave again. Now just got to get all the junk out of the studio room and re cable everything and mark it all up, so I can clearly see which system is which on the mixer.

Thanks to everyone who has listened to the shows and given me some feedback. It really helps to know that at least someone is listening to it. Some of the guys on the rant forums have started listening to it, and I might apply to them to get a slot on the rant media rotation, once I have a good head start, or can figure out a slot that I can keep up every week.

The r4nger5 server is back up, and will be getting a full overhaul and spring clean, at least the site will. There are now 3 archives: Newsreal, r4nger5 radio and 10n3 r4nger5 all have their own archives, as well as the archive.org backup.

The r4nger5 team have a whole lot planned for the year, including a TV show, a road trip video and lots more of the pod casts, with a lot more new people joining the cause.

Sorry if anyone has been trying to contact my server. It's been out of commission for a few weeks, due to a catastrophic HDD failure - this should be rectified soon, and everything should be back and on line.

If you are desperate for some more r4nger5 media, the 2 newest episoeds, r4nger5 radio ep9 and 10n3 r4nger5 ep4 have been uploaded to the Internet Archive.

Hust go to www.archive.org, and run a search for 'r4nger5' and all the completeds episodes will be available for either download or live streaming.

 Want to be on the show? send me a private message, and we'll sort something out. If you're local, we'll arrange a meet, or if you're too far, we'll sort it out via sype.

New Video, it's Here.

It was inspired by a piece of spoken word that we used for episode 8 of r4nger5 radio, all about the formation of the FBI from the Pinkerton Detective Agency.
