An empty pit being filled with flowers,

Feels like taking long long showers.

Showers to wash of the dirt im my soul,

Crud that is stuck in a bowl.

 

I'm trying to get better and do good,

Not just playing games and chopping wood.

I want to show what it's like,

To lose my pride, to lose my spike.

 

A work of art I seek to be,

To show you God who maketh me.

A Human truly I've come to be,

So that you all, you all may see.

 

But oh fuck,

I make mistakes, I'm full with error,

Often I shrivel up in mere terror.

I can't do a thing on my own,

Look at my life, it sure has shown.

 

But the desire exists, what do I do?

I found something, is it what, is it who?

Deep inside, yes in my heart,

I know, it'll never depart.

 

This feeling of a future, and of hope,

Now a view opens to my inner scope.

A view of renewing strength and love,

Flying to freedom like a white dove.

 

Yes now I know that I can lose,

Everything I have I can lose,

And I know that still then will be,

God's love deep whithin me.
