My dad once told me:
"I've never been accused of being smart"
I've come to realise that this is indeed an accusation, not a compliment, as "smart" people are held to a higher standard than others and in more contempt when they fail. I have been told I'm smart by many people, and I don't believe them for a second.
Also I take things way too seriously for the fool that I am.
