  1. Video record yourself writing a letter (Apply videoing and letter writing skills
    • Acting: Be somewhat expressive as your facial expressions tell part of the story of how you feel about your letter
    • Costuming: Dress appropriate to your message.
    • Setting: Clean up your room or shoot yourself using a laptop somewhere cool.
    • You can video yourself pretending to send the letter but don't actually send it until it is uploaded somewhere publically so that you can include the link in your response.
  2. Audio record yourself narrating the letter in an engaging fashion
    • Audio edit as many takes as necessary and remove any stammering until you get it right.
    • dub your narration over the video in sync if possible
    • you will speak at a different speed than you actually type
    • cut between showing you typing words on the screen synced up with your speaking and shots without the screen when not in sync.
    • If you have no editing skills, you could use just a long shot or videorecord yourself reading the printed letter when you finish with it.
  3. Post the letter

    • Post your video on your web site and on sites like YouTube.com and promote it via blogging,
    • They may pay attention to the number of visitors looking at your letter to gauge the amount of publicity their response or silence will receive. If you get a lot of visitors, include a counter. If you don't get many visitors, use a mystery counter like mjaft.org does
