http://www.empowerthyself.com/files/actspecdiagram.jpg First-line kit is the bare essential gear you will wear with you at all times.

First-line gear is usually limited to shirt, pants pockets, belt, pockets, fanny pack or leg bag. BDU-style cargo pants allow you to carry some additional first-line gear in additional pockets but you probably won’t always be wearing cargos.

These are great pants i have

These are great pants i have a few pairs and work in them all the time, and even ride in them in the winter, a good jacket to keep me warm and let moisture out and a nice pair of designer sunglasses to keep the sun out of my eyes.

Are there any women who wear

Are there any women who wear all of this? Is this a man's only thing or should there be a first line women's page too? Maybe you're just assuming women would wear the same thing?

It goes both ways

There are some women who wear a lot of kit on them though more women carry purses and there are men who carry "man purses". There are men who wear utilikilts and women who wear 5.11s it just depends.

I do think we need a good set of different options presented without downplaying any one of them.

Maybe a set of different kit approaches would be appropriate.

Consideration

Yes, I would say that women would wear the same pants as men.  Is that not correct?

I wouldn't wear the same

I wouldn't wear the same pants as men, unless I was a cop or it was part of my uniform. Men's pants don't work well with women since, you know, we have hips and all. Alex, I like the idea of alternatives, like other goodstuff such as the utilikilt. Allows us to not all wear the same pants by default(though I'll probably always stick to jeans).
